Off they go!

I just packed up & shipped out the shutters for my 135mm & 90mm lenses to Flutot’s Camera Repair. This is a good thing since as-is, they tend to not work at shutter speeds slower then 1/30th. Combine this with the fact that the focal plane shutter in my Speed Graphic hits a slowest speed of 1/30ths as well, and you can see how irritated I can get when 90% of my scenes call for something in the 1s - 1/30th range of shutter speeds. I end up having to either stop down excessively, and pile on filters to get down to 1 second or more that I can easily count out, or open the aperture up wider then I’d like just to hit 1/30th. Either way, it is real annoying to not have that five stop segment of shutter speeds at my disposal, so I’ll be giddy as all hell when they come back.
And if they do a really good job, the shutters might actually work again when the temperature gets below 50°F
