For the past year or so I've been trying to grow myself as a photographer by trying to work harder at creating themed collections of images. Instead of releasing single images here and there under general categories such as Landscapes or Street Photography like I have been for years, I want to release many images at once that fit a much more focused theme of my choosing.
Today I finally stopped being lazy and wired up this web site to allow me to post featured collections of images. I'd just like to take this post to direct you to the first of my collections to go live: Sjixxxy the Great: Party Photographer Extraordinaire.
Enjoy.

Good quality single images in time, makes a good series, about the man behind the camera and how he sees things in the world. Series made for the purpose of making a series of photographs, often just results in a 2-3 good images and 10 not so good or even bad ones.
Your method of rolling film on the developing reel was successful, thanks for the tip.

I agree with what you are saying Usko, and have experienced it first hand. Kind of a double edged sword. I go into local coffee shops and small galleries to see what is on display, and way to often the best title I can come up with for a photographer's choice of images is "My ten best." They might be ten really good images, but something about them appearing to just be randomly put together kind of turns me off.
Then on the other hand, I know well about undershooting beofre having to pick 10 themed images for a series. Exactly what you said, a few good ones, and a bunch of OK images to fill the space.
Most of what is in my head for themes are one that I can contribute to year after year of shooting. Edit out the weak ones and keep adding the best so that it grows. None are really anything that I can only shoot over the course of a two month period and never be able to go back to it.
Glad to hear my film loading tip worked out for you.
