Something that has never happened to me before happened tonight.
I was talking to a stranger, they noticed my camera and asked if I was a photographer. I said I was and there was a bit of small talk. eventually I pulled out one of my cards and handed it to her.
"Oh! You're K. Praslowicz. You do great work. I seen it at the gala a few months ago."
It feels good to be recognized by strangers. ![]()
Way better than --
"Oh, you're K. Praslowicz. I thought you'd be taller."
"Oh, you're K. Praslowicz. You're always prompt."
"Oh, you're K. Praslowicz. You live at 1423 W. Anderson Street, Apartment B. You have incredible thighs."

Much, much better than -
"Oh, you're K. Pralowicz. You've been served."
Congrats on that. Sounds like a nice feeling.
All of these are also much better then:
"Oh! You're K. Praslowicz. Here is your son."
