Last Friday evening was the annual Christmas City of the North Parade here in Duluth. It is a big parade with marching bands, Santa, fire dancers, and probably a whole lot more if you can actually see past the crowd of people and actually see the thing. Perhaps my memory of the actual parade was fuzzy since I attended it armed with my infrared equipped Olympus XA2 and an itch to do some street photography, and was paying more attention to the people flowing past me looking for photo opportunities than I was to the parade itself? That theory seems plausible.
Enough banter though. How about I just post my results? I'm going to be lazy this time and just upload them to Flickr. Either view the set Christmas City of the North, 2009, or watch the following slide show.
