Art books will still be my primary way of purchasing art. Get a lot of pieces at once, and no frames! Bookshelf storage is much simpler.

A friend of mine, not photographer but painter - beginning now to have an international selling - tell me the same thing like you: in a big show/sale of contemporain art painting he see most of people selling where thos with nice framing (no question about what was inside the framing....)

I just remembered how I wish I had a clone of myself. One that would do nothing but develop my film and do post processing. That way I could have all the parts of the process that I don't enjoy as much done for me, but still keep keep my whims and judgments easily present in the final product.

I could probably use him to handle my framing as well.

I haven't had to get into framing my stuff yet, but I know I will have to. I remember how much time and effort it took the last time I framed a lot of stuff. At least you can (kinda) outsource it.

A well framed print does really pop though.
