Greetings. My name is Kip Praslowicz, and this is my photography website.
I enjoy really large film cameras and living in northern Minnesota. I'm also a massive introvert which results in many people thinking I hate them when we meet in person. I take photographs of strangers to cope.
My Curriculum Vitae can be found here if you are into that kind of stuff. You should also check out this video.

My personal Facebook account. General life observations and terrible iPhone images. Often inappropriate for children. This is where my childhood of reading Mad & Cracked magazines shows itself. I think more people have told me they love reading my Facebook updates than have told me they love my photography. Until I recognize your name from interactions here on other social media sites, I probably won't answer your friend request. I do however leave my public updates available to be subscribed to and interacted with. Yes!

For when I feel like sharing photos while drinking a PBR tall-boy
This looks like a fine website with fine photographs! One of my favorite past times is looking at things. I must say, your photographs are something my rolly eyes would roll in excitement for!
I just impressing with your work man. Thanks to share your master piece photography.
Thank you for putting so much effort up here. This is a great place to kill time at work.
Excellent site, full of very creative images.
I'll be back for more...
Hello !
Such a nice site ! I was looking for informations about press cameras and found it. Thank you for all !
Don't know which link led me to your site, but: It is a very nice one. Hard to imagine to walk through the night, carrying a medium format camera. And with that monster to shoot unknown people using a flashlight. I myself will never develop enough self-confidence and cockiness to do so. But maybe, after 12 years of practice? (English is not even my second language. Sorry, if some of my phrases sound a bit bizarre)
What I like most is your method of shooting wedding partys. When everybody is in the state of near-stupor. Without compromising people. Very interesting pictures.
@max I find that the larger, and more non-dSLR a camera looks, the easier it is to be self-confident in public.
Hi K. Praslowicz,
I really like your photos. I just looked through your 2009 year in review. Great! I love the slice of life you have of downtown and East Hillside area.
Having just discovered your site, Ive spent an enjoyable evening getting acquainted. I applaud your common sense preference for more artful, and certainly more interesting film cameras. I particularly enjoyed your blog post concerning a man contemplating the purchase of a Nikon. I had a similar conversation with my grandson when I showed him my Fujica G690BL.....he asked how many MBs it had. I showed him my light box next.
Dear K,
Thanks a lot for taking to time to share your view of the world with all of us. I've been photographing my little town for about 6 years now. There's times where I feel like I'm not doing anything special, but after reading your blogs and looking thru your catalogs I feel rejuvenated. We have very similar points of views and it was refreshing to see your enthusiasm for all things photographic. While I'm not a film person like your self, I thoroughly share your points of view. Keep up the great work and thanks for taking the time to share of yourself. It made a difference!
Jake
