I purchased my Graphlex 4x5 Anniversary Speed Graphic after I managed to break one of the spring arms on my Burke & James Press that hold the film on to the body. It is build much more solidly than the Burke & James, though I do miss some of the features that the Burke & James had. Front tilt, and the rotating back to be specific.
For some crazy reason, people keep saying things like "How much did that cost? It looks like those old fashion cameras." The answer being "A lot less then your 3.6megapixel, and actually, it is one of those old fashion cameras."

The M3 in Coraline. Will Smith's ranegfinder in the title sequence of the Fresh Price of Bel-Air. They all get [...]

Don't I use crazy contraptions that won't focus for me and often require me to stop shooting while I empty it? Yes! Yes I do! And I'm proud to say that I enjoy shooting sports with them. I've [...]

View Entire Post by K. Praslowicz ~ May 25th, 2008 | No Comments So it seems that the course for third stage of the Duluth Classic Bike Race goes right in front of where I am living. I had no clue until about 9:30 this morning when I looked out of my front window and seen a massive swarm of bikes going past. I loaded up some grafmatics [...]

View Entire Post by K. Praslowicz ~ June 10th, 2007 | 1 Comment About fifteen minutes ago I was out doing some night photography with my Speed Graphic. The main part of the scene metered at 5:30 minutes exposure after factoring in reciprocity. The darkest parts that I wanted to register where pretty dark, so I needed to use my flash to build up some density. I opened [...]

I bought a graflex anniversary in ebay it does a little more than 1 year the cost was aprox 250 dollares mine conditions whit it is come the flash, 2 glasses of the finder, cable shooter, cables for the flash, 2 lenses, filters, back film, you tackle and his case. very finished this one nevertheless needed painting and oil. it is a very nice but very complicated team I go many months investigating as it works to be able to use my camera. I believe that in close states it is possible to buy one depending on the state from 70 dollares up to 1000 .and in europe it can cost a little more although they are usually better preserved good luck

with regard to the pixels I dont know but I can say to you that it is a camera of medium or big format this means that depending on the version it goes to use badges or movie 120, the photographic teams of badges are used to do photography ofadvertising where it is needed that the photography has one excellent quality and those of formto way deal for photography of fashion, in any version you will have a very nice complex team of using more ideal for captures in study and also the ideal thing a tripie is
