Yashicamat 124G

Yashicamat 124g

I’ve always been curious about using a TLR, and wanted something as a compromise to do the my 35mm did better then my 4×5 equipment, but with a larger negative size. As a result, I ended up with this little machine added to my working collection.

Ideally, it will get me back into the low light color photography business. So far, the results have been quite promising. And it is even fun for people.

I picked up a Yashica Mat 124G on the advise of a college instructor in the 1980’s.
I’ve used it ever since. It has a sharp-as-a-tack-lens and a very functional light meter if you shade it from stray light! Get one if you can.
