Wasteland Photography
K. PraslowiczHi! I don't do as much text blogging as I used to, as most of my efforts have shifted towards video content. Please consider subscribing to my YouTube channel.
View The ChannelFor the past few months I’ve been casually snapping screen shots while playing the game Fallout 3 and post processing them to have the same feel as photos I’d be taking with my 35mm cameras. I’ve had the page hidden on this site with the best of the results to share with friends of mine who also play the game. The whole time I kept thinking to myself “Hmm. Could this fly as valid art?”
Today while browsing the photography section at our local Barnes & Noble, I seen the following.

Sitting snug between a book of Dorothea Lange’s work, and a Phaidon book with one of the most famous National Geographic images ever on the cover, was a stack of Fallout 3 guides. I now have had my assurance, video game screenshotography can be art.
Thus, my gallery of Fallout 3 Screenshots. Be careful! It can be sort of violent.
